Jiri Everest Base Camp Trek follows the identical path that Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa went on to climb Everest in 1953 AD, and It is the original classic route that trekkers used until Kathmandu Lukla flights have not started. Nowadays, this route is followed by a handful of trekkers.
